We are Saverio and Pia, two ophthalmologists, physicians, and surgeons specializing in corneal diseases.

After our university training, we had the extraordinary opportunity to meet Prof. Massimo Busin.

During the years spent in his department at the Private Hospitals of Forlì, we assisted in hundreds of surgical procedures, ranging from pediatric cases to highly complex procedures. We benefited from the innovations Prof. Busin introduced to surgical practice. As a pioneer in numerous therapeutic strategies, we had the opportunity to refine a methodology for approaching corneal diseases.

During these years of training, we developed a passion for minimally invasive lamellar corneal surgery, continuing the passion he passed on to us.

Deeply grateful for this experience, we have had the opportunity, thanks to our directors, Dr. Antonella Franch, Prof. Nucci, and subsequently Prof. Viola, to launch corneal physiopathology services, maintaining ongoing training to continue our growth.
